On March 21, 2025, in Kon Plong District, Kon Tum Province, Dak Lo 1-3 Hydropower Company Limited held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Dak Lo 1-3 hydropower project.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by the following units:
VCP Construction and Energy Joint Stock Company
Mr. Vu Ngoc Tu – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company
Mr. Pham Van Minh – General Director
Mr. Trinh Nguyen Khanh – Deputy General Director
Dak Lo 1-3 Hydropower Company Limited
Mr. Bui Khac Hieu – Deputy Director and Director of the Project Management Board and Company Staff.
The Dak Lo 1-3 hydropower project is built on the Nuoc Lo stream, part of the Tra Khuc river system, with a total designed capacity of 34 MW. Both projects include components such as the dam, spillway, water conveyance tunnel, power plant, and other grid connection elements. After completion, the project will make a significant contribution to the national power supply, ensuring electricity provision for the region and contributing to the local socio-economic development.
The implementation of the project not only enhances the efficiency of exploiting natural water resources but also minimizes environmental impact through modern technology, ensuring ecological flow and efficient resource use. In addition to providing electricity, the project also creates many job opportunities for local workers, promotes the development of transportation infrastructure, and improves the living standards of the surrounding residents.
Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of Dak Lo 1-3 Hydropower Company Limited affirmed their commitment to completing the project on schedule, ensuring quality, labor safety, and strict compliance with environmental protection regulations.
